Wellness is about more than just the physical. It’s about the emotional, mental, spiritual, and intellectual elements in your life and the way you perceive beauty in your physical world.

Yes, wellness is all about the physical too. We’re so obsessed with the physical that we often don’t notice that the emotional, mental, and spiritual components of well being are just as important.

One thing that I like to do is look for beauty in beauty. The beauty of the ocean, the beauty of a sunset, the beauty of a piece of art, etc.

I remember when I was in high school the first time I got my period. It was the summer term which began the first of the school year, and it was a big deal. I was pretty young and not the most socially confident person, so I wore a t-shirt to school. I had the nerve to slip my shirt off to show my belly. It wasn’t that I care for the idea of being seen, I just was nervous that people would notice.
