Why We Love sauce beauty (And You Should, Too!)
This sauce that I make is a combination of my favorite vegetables and herbs that I grew in my garden, plus some olive oil, lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar. If you can stand the heat, you should definitely give this one a try.

I’m not sure if I’m the only one who loves this sauce, but it’s one of those things that seems to be made for sharing. My favorite recipe is the one with the green pepper and lemon, but there are so many others. The sauce is also just as good as it sounds, and all of the recipes can be made vegetarian, but some call for a bit of olive oil, so if youre not a vegan, you can probably skip the olive oil.
If you’re just looking for an easy recipe, I recommend using your favorite store-bought pepper jelly. I know it sounds gross, but it actually tastes really good, and it makes a great sauce, too. It’s one of those recipes that you can make on the cheap, but you can also spend a few bucks on the sauce as well.
I have to say, the only ingredient in this sauce that really screams “vegetarian” is the pepper jelly. But if you do make it, here’s what it is.
This pepper jelly is made by fermenting the juice of fresh jalapeño peppers. You can find the recipe in the Sauce Beauty website, or on the Piedmont Health website. I also have a handy recipe on the Sauce Beauty page for other types of peppers, like red bell peppers.

This sauce looks amazing, and tastes even better. The only thing that I wish I added in was the spicy sauce.
