That sounds like a great life philosophy. But we have to remember that we are not trapped in a time loop. We can choose to stay comfortable or move forward. We can choose to be miserable or move forward. But neither of these choices are a certainty. And we have no reason to think that either of them is more likely to be true than anything else. We are free to do either.
For example, I am happy when I can choose to be miserable. I am happy when I can be comfortable. I am happy when I can choose to move forward. I am unhappy when I can choose to be uncomfortable. I am unhappy when I can choose to move backward. So what makes this life worth living? The answer is that we can choose to be happy and unhappy at the same time.
We are all faced with the same decisions in life, but the choices we make are not the same. In other words, our choices are not the same as our actions. We are not doing what we’re doing because of our choices. Instead, we are doing what we’re doing because we want it to be the actual thing we are doing right now.
